By entering this Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and will be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials. This will be strictly enforced by the Promoter.
  1. This promotion is run by the ‘Promoter’ – Ballymaloe Foods registered office: Courtstown Park, Little Island, Co. Cork, Ireland, T45 PR68 and is administered by the ‘Administrator’ - Sweete, PO Box 12948, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
  2. This promotion is open to all residents in the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years and over.
  3. The duration of the promotion will run from 00:00 on 21st January 2026 until 23:59 on 23rd March 2026. Any entries received after 23:59 on 23rd March 2026 will be deemed invalid and will not qualify as an eligible entry.
  4. Purchase is necessary for entry into the Promotion. The promotion is open to customers who purchase Ballymaloe Foods products in Tesco or SuperValu stores nationwide.
  5. To enter, customers must purchase 1 Ballymaloe 360g Pasta Sauce from their Pasta Sauce and bolognese range in Tesco or SuperValu stores nationwide, upload proof of purchase (receipt) to www.ballymaloefoodsgiveaway.com/ and enter their personal details (name, email and mobile number) to be entered into the prize draw to win a prize. There are no limits on the number of entries per person throughout the Promotional Period.
  6. The proof of purchase (receipt) is a photo of the receipt which includes a) Retail store name; b) Ballymaloe Pasta Sauce product purchased; and c) Date of purchase.
  7. The qualifying Ballymaloe Pasta Sauce range includes Italian Tomato Pasta Sauce, Mediterranean Pasta Sauce, Smoked Bacon Pasta Sauce, Original Bolognese Sauce, Hidden Veggies Bolognese Sauce, and Spicy Tomato Bolognese Sauce.
  8. Eligibility is determined by Ballymaloe Foods in accordance with these terms and conditions. Ballymaloe Foods determination in respect thereof shall be final.
  9. There are two (2) prizes available: one (1) €500 Tesco gift card and one (1) €500 SuperValu gift card. One winner will be selected per retailer based on proof of purchase.
  10. The Prizes are offered as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternative in whole or in part, or alternative Prize to the stated Prize shall be offered or made available, however the Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or lesser value.
  11. The two (2) Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries after the promotion ends on 23rd March 2026 and the Winners will be notified by the Administrator. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the result, the Promoter and/or judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Winners will be chosen at random from a pool of people that correctly enter the Promotion following the Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold Prizes if participants have not met the qualifying criteria set out clearly in the rules of this Promotion.
  13. Winners of the Promotion will be notified within 48 hours of the Promotion ending. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Winners. However, if the Winners have not responded to notification within 48 hours of notification or if a selected Winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner using the same process referred to above in these Terms and Conditions.
  14. The Administrator will call both winners and send their gift card prize via email which will require the Winner to supply a contact email. We are not liable for any damage or loss to a Prize caused by any third party. If a Prize is damaged or fails to be delivered, we have no obligation to provide a replacement prize.
  15. By entering this Promotion, you explicitly consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purpose of the Promoter selecting, contacting and confirming the Winner. The Administrator, Sweete, will delete all entrants’ information 14 days after the Promotion ends.
  16. The information collected from the entrants is used only for the purpose of administering the Promotion, including fulfilling and delivering Prizes to Winner. Entrants acknowledge that this information is collected on the legal basis that it is necessary to administer the entrant’s desired participation in the Promotion. If you do not provide this information, participation in the Promotion will be factually impossible.
  17. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller and to the Data Controller using third party agencies to process that personal data for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
  18. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and Administrator accepts no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered due to entering this Promotion or taking up a Prize. Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for: (i) Any incorrect or inaccurate entry, or for any faulty, incorrect, failed, erroneous or failed electronic data transmissions; and/or (ii) Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers utilized in any aspect of this promotion causing delays or disruption.
  19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, lost, corrupt or incorrect entries or for any malfunctions, errors or viruses in the software that has been designed to maintain the entrants’ details, or for any incompatibility with all, or any, hardware and/or software that entrants may use.
  20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland, as applicable in accordance with where the cause of action arose, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland, as applicable.

  1. This Tesco Gift Card can be used only in stores nationwide. The Tesco Gift Card cannot be used to make online purchases.
  2. Tesco Gift Cards are issued via email.
  3. The Tesco Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or resold, returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Cash value €0.001c.
  4. You can use the Tesco Gift Card for full or part-payment towards any products sold within a Tesco store whilst the Gift Card is valid. “Store” includes third party concessions and petrol stations.
  5. The Tesco Gift Card is valid for a period of 5 years from the date it was activated or your last transaction, whichever is later. For these purposes, a transaction includes both a balance enquiry and using the e-gift card to pay for a purchase. You will not be able to use your gift card after that date and any unused balance on the card will be lost.
  6. The Gift Card must be presented at a self-service or manned checkout in a Tesco store. It can’t be spent online. The amount redeemed from a Gift Card and the balance remaining on it will be shown on the till receipt, which you should keep. It is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card and no interest is paid on card balances.
  7. The Gift Card available balance can be checked online.
  8. If the entire value is not redeemed in a transaction, the balance will remain on your Gift Card until it is used again or until it expires.

  3. A SuperValu Gift Card can be used in store or online at www.supervalu.ie/shopping.

The Gift Card can be used for the purchase in full or part payment for goods (excluding lottery tickets, money cards and vending machine sales) in participating stores in the Republic of Ireland only. Purchases made with the Gift Card will be deducted until the balance reaches zero. If the purchase price exceeds the amount available to spend on the card, the remaining balance can be settled via another accepted payment method. You can check your Gift Card balance online, in store, or on your receipt. Change will not be given on purchases made with this SuperValu Gift Card. Any remaining balance may only be used against future purchases.
  5. The Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash.
  6. SuperValu will not be liable for lost, stolen or fraudulently used or damaged Gift Cards.
  7. SuperValu Gift Cards may not be sold to any third parties and may not be used for resale.
  8. SuperValu reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of card usage from time to time where necessary. Notice will be given of such changes where possible
  9. The Gift Cards are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Any remaining balances will expire. The Gift Cards are not reloadable.
  10. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
